Dennis Ritterbush
Coach Dennis Ritterbush has been coaching for 46 years. He was a multi-sport athlete at David Starr
Jordan High School in Long Beach, and attended California Lutheran University,
where he played football and wrestled.
He started in 1978 as an assistant football coach at Agoura High School
and began coaching wrestling and baseball there the following year. Coach Ritterbush joined the Lancer Wrestling
Staff in 2013, and was named Head Coach in 2015. Coach Ritterbush has guided
the Thousand Oaks Lancers Wrestling program to four consecutive Marmonte League
Championships (2021-2024).
Coach Ritterbush has lived in Thousand Oaks since coming
here for college in 1973. He is married
to his college sweetie, Heidi, and has three adult sons, two of which wrestled
for the Lancer Program and are TOHS graduates, Paul ’04, and Matthew, ’06.
