Ashley Ontiveros
Coach Ontiveros enters her 4th
year as the head coach for the girls’ basketball team at Thousand Oaks.
Ashley was a standout player. As a
4 year Varsity starter, she started her high school career at Newbury Park
before finishing at Rio Mesa. At Rio Mesa she led the team to their first CIF
Finals appearance in school history while averaging 14 points per game.
Ashley then attended Moorpark
College where she averaged 19 points per game. Due to her success at Moorpark,
she then transferred to Cal State San Marcos on scholarship and was a starter
there.
Upon graduation, Ashley started her
coaching career. She gained experience by assisting at Moorpark College, Rio
Mesa, and St Bonaventure High School before earning the Head Coaching job at
Thousand Oaks High School.
Aside from coaching at Thousand
Oaks, Coach Ashley also coaches with the 805 Raptors and is a full time administrative
assistant in a law office.
