Alan Scally
Coach Scally enters his 4th season coaching high
school field hockey, where the Lancers were able to qualify for the playoffs
for the first time in school history.
During the 2022 season the Lancers scored more points and allowed less
points than at any other point in the school’s history.
Coach Scally brings to the program more than 25 years of
coaching experience at the club level, where he has coached all levels of
talent, from D1 teams to U10. This
breath of experience allows him to develop players from different talent
pools. His players have continued to
play though college, with 3 of the 2023 seniors having the opportunity to choose
that path in D1 and D3 levels. Coach
Scally has been named several times as coach of the year for Ventura County,
with the most recent one being in 2021.
